PDF: Dyslexia Games - Series A
PDF Dyslexia Games Series A builds basic reading and spelling skills. It helps children ages 5-8 who reverse letters and numbers or struggle with early reading. This workbook set uses creative puzzles and art to train the brain.
Is Series A right for your child?
If your child cannot confidently read three-letter words, start with Series A. Complete Series A before moving to Series B.
- Who it helps: Children with reading confusion, messy handwriting, attention difficulties, or symptoms of dyslexia, ADHD, or ASD. Also helpful for kids who can't remember right and left or do not respond well to phonics lessons.
- How to use: Complete the workbooks in order (finish book 1 before moving to book 2). Have your child complete 3-5 pages each day, adjusting as needed to prevent fatigue, but try to stay consistent. Pause other language arts while using the program-reading aloud, videos, and voluntary activities are fine, but avoid phonics drills or reading games. For best results, use a fine-tip black liner pen so strokes match the workbook designs.
- What happens next: Most students finish Series A in about 2-3 months. After completion, your child will be ready for Series B or other 1st grade materials, and you should notice a definite difference in confidence and reading ability.
*Most 8-year-olds will need both Series A and B
