An Introduction to this Devotional Notebook:This is a collection of many of my ‘go to’ Scriptures that are such a part of my daily journey on this exciting/frightening roller coaster ride called Life. If this collection were in music form, maybe I would title it ‘Scripture's Greatest Hits, Volume 1.’
These are my life verses. Verses that have carried me through times when I was in situations where I didn’t think I would or could survive emotionally or even physically.
In any titanic or overwhelming situation, what we actually need is a transformation, a work only God can do in us, a renewing of the mind where the fears or anger or other emotions we are succumbing to need to be replaced by the truth of God’s word. These Scriptures are the ones that have done this in and through me when I’ve stood at the foot of mountains that I thought might crush me. I want constant reminders of these truths, so why not include them in notebook form for everyday life?!
